Meyer provides clarity.
Switching from a 10 peice band to a speaker with and lapel mic then to DVD sources required a flexible system that matained intelligence and musicallity. Bolstering the Meyer M1D house system CSS provided a Meyer MSL-4 and 650P concert sound system alongside an Allen & Heath ML4000 48 Channel mixing console for front of house duties. Bruce Pont resided over FOH duties with Seb Knowles taking care of the musicians requirements on monitors with an Allen & Heath ML3000 32 Channel. Due to the venue being at full capacity the mix position had to be situated on the balcony off centre.
For the lighting Greg Szabo specified a mixed rig of intelligents fixtures and Generic lanterns. Controlled through the Avolites Pearl he provided a series of looks that maintained adequete levels of light for the cameras that fed the image magnification screens provided by the video contractor. Utilising Martin Mac500's and 600's alongside The Centaurs stock of ETC Source 4 Pars and profiles, and other units provided by CSS, all rigged on the production grid installed by CSS riggers flown beneath the Mother Grid system.
The conference was judged a success, with both the client and delegates happy.
