Founded in1982 "Cheltenham Stage Services" was started by Peter Allison, the company's current Chairman. CSS has changed considerably over the years, building on its strengths and disposing of its weaknesses. The company was incorporated as a limited liability company in 2002 and holds an extensive quantity of Lighting, Sound and Rigging equipment for all sorts of event types.
Steve Roskilly joined CSS at the end of 2003 to relieve the pressure on Pete and became Managing Director in April 2005, leaving Pete the portfolio of Financial Director and Chairman. Details of the Heads of Department and the other staff, can be found by clicking here.
About E&MS Ltd
Pete Allison began Event & Management Services also in 2002, to take on the site management for the Greenbelt Christian Arts Festival, and this soon developed into another full-time company. It is now supplies technical management for a wide range of events throughout the year.
Owned predominently by Pete McCrea, who had rolled out the excellent Protonic Easyjob hire software for CSS, this is an associate company. Production:av is the video projection and screens arm of the group. Visit the Production:av website for more information.
