CSS - experience to make it work for you.

CSS has provided lighting design and operation services over many years, for a great number of clients and in a great many venues. From Plymouth to Glasgow, Belfast to Coventry and all stations in between.
In the past year we have provided lighting design (and sound services) to the National Hunt Festival Gold Cup four day festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, the Willow Creek conference at the Centaur, various venues around the country as part of the Care For The Family 'Prodigals' tour, Swansea City fireworks display, Uni Gloucs Students Union Summer Ball, Greenbelt Festival, Sidmouth Festival, Wychwood Festival and many, many more.
Contact us at the office for further details on any of our lighting products and services.

Cheltenham Town Hall Our friends at the Town Hall are constantly in touch with us for small lighting rigs and flown truss systems throughout the year, for a great variety of touring productions. It is a turnover of work we really appreciate, though never seem to acknowledge properly. Thanks guys and gals!

Cheltenham Folk Festival 2006 The festival season kicked off (9-12 Feb) with Cheltenham's sold-out Folk Festival. CSS provided a 60kW PAR rig with 12 Martin Mac500 intelligent lights, all run from an Avolites Pearl board byAndi Dell. Andi has become an integral part of the festival, almost as much as John Eeles, who provides the sound (Spadger). It is a very happy event, run by very friendly people, and this seems to infect the crew, artists and audiences alike.

Headliners this year were Bellowhead, Eliza Carthy, The Warsaw Village Band, Martin Carthy & Martin Simpson.

New Years Eve Party - Cheltenham Town Hall Andy Bartlett pursuaded his wife for yet another New Year's Eve that he would be pushing the lighting faders at Cheltenham's prestigious black tie Ball. Special rigs were added to the normal trusses to cope with the indoor pyros this year, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Nobody particularly wanted to go home at the end!

Bournside school - Cheltenham CSS has recently supplied a considerable number of new lanterns to local Cheltenham Bournside School and 6th form Centre. Required to interface with the existing lighting stock, the need had arisen for extra lanterns to allow for the schools well regarded art exhibitions to be lit correctly. After building the relationships with the client CSS was chosen to supply the lanterns, with the installation taking place over the Easter Holidays. Then Phase Two will commence where the existing stock is refurbished and returned to use.
