CSS : Hire : Video

Video

Although CSS specialises in the provision of sound and lighting services, our close relationship with Production:av Ltd allows us to fulfil your requirements for anything vaguely video orientated.

If you would prefer, why not visit the Production:av Ltd website, or contact Pete McCrea to discuss your video needs directly?.

Video

Video is the third crucial element of any production. They say 'Seeing is Believing', and the inclusion of video into an event enhances the experience and adds weight to the message. Whether that is a business launch, or a large image magnification screen for a concert, Production:av and CSS will ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible. Because the staff in both companies have an intimate knowledge and appreciation in each other's disciplines, the result is a seamless team effort.

Racing at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Regular racing events at Cheltenham Racecourse rely on 'The Centaur' as a hub for the activities. During the Gold Cup 'Festival', thousands pack out the venue watching the racing live on screen.

For the Festival a 16'x12' projection screen with 10,000 Lumen brightness projector is utilised. For all the events images fed from RaceTech's SDI feeds are controlled and relayed to the screen by Production:av.

Westminster Abbey - Make Poverty History

Christian Aid in conjunction with the Trade Justice Movement had a combination of CSS and Production:av fit out Westminster Abbey with two stages, one either side of the Quire, for its Make Poverty History campaign, earlier in the year. A total of eight 42" plasma screens had to be installed around the building paying particular attention to ensuring that cable runs were largely out of sight. The installation had to be undertaken during normal hours, with the visiting public still at large, and culminating in a packed house.

A number of well-known celebrities took part in the production. Feeds to the screens were derived from 4 manned cameras, one on a jib, and the event was live mixed by another close relation company - Cutting Edge of Hampshire.
